About Me

Real estate has always been a part of my life. I grew up in a family deeply connected to the industry, which gave me an appreciation for real estate long before I began working in the profession myself. My mother was a successful real estate agent, and my father is a longtime real estate appraiser who continues to actively practice today. I was fortunate to learn the appraisal business directly from my father, who passed down not only his knowledge and experience, but also his genuine passion for the profession and the importance of doing the job thoroughly and ethically.

Over the course of more than 10 years as a licensed professional, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of markets and gain experience with a wide range of property types and real estate assignments. I have been licensed and worked as an appraiser in California, Washington, and Oregon, giving me valuable perspective on different markets, regulations, and approaches to real estate valuation. These experiences have helped me develop a broad understanding of the appraisal profession while also teaching me how important it is to understand the unique characteristics of each individual market.

My education at Cal Poly Pomona provided me with a strong foundation in professional skills that I have carried throughout my career. My education, combined with the hands-on training and more than a decade of experience in the appraisal profession, has helped shape my analytical approach and commitment to providing thorough, well-supported valuations. Throughout my career, I have continued to build my knowledge through professional education, industry experience, and active involvement in the appraisal and real estate communities.

I am also passionate about supporting others who are entering or advancing within the appraisal profession. I have provided mentorship and enjoy sharing the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my career. Having had the benefit of learning from my own father and other experienced professionals, I understand how valuable mentorship can be, particularly in a profession where practical experience and sound judgment are so important. I believe that strengthening the appraisal community through education, collaboration, and mentorship ultimately benefits both appraisers and the clients we serve.

Today, I reside in Pasadena, California, and proudly serve clients throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, including Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and Orange Counties. My familiarity with the region and its diverse neighborhoods allows me to approach each assignment with an understanding that goes beyond simply analyzing numbers. Every property and every neighborhood has its own characteristics, and a well-supported appraisal requires careful consideration of the factors that influence how buyers and sellers perceive value in a particular market.

Whether an appraisal is needed for a purchase, refinance, estate, divorce, tax purposes, litigation, relocation, or another real estate matter, my goal is to make the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible. I understand that an appraisal is often an important part of a much larger financial or personal decision, and I strive to provide clear communication throughout the process while delivering a credible and well-supported valuation.

Ultimately, my goal is to provide every client with an appraisal they can have confidence in, along with the personal attention and professional service they deserve. I am proud to carry forward the knowledge and passion for appraisal that was passed down to me while continuing to build my own career and contribute to the profession I have been fortunate enough to be a part of.
